Last Day @ Rising Stars Gymnastics

Thursday, February 27, 2014

Monday was our last class at Rising Stars Gymnastics. We have loved having the girls in gymnastics! It is great for them to be active, push themselves to be brave and conquer fears, and learn to follow directions as part of a class!

Two weeks ago, Claire moved up to the big class and then on Monday Kenley moved up to the hour class. They both did so well in their new groups! They were pushed in new ways and Brian and I were so proud of how well they did and how far they have come!

Kenley rocked the balance beam this day! She was so brave and was crawling up to get on the big balance beam by herself without steps or help from her coach!

She even did bear walks on the balance beam! Brave strong girl!

The girls with their coaches!
We love Coach Briana, Coach Leslie, and Coach Dawn!

If you are looking for a gymnastics gym in the Marysville area we definitely recommend Rising Stars!! The coaches are wonderful!

Melting Beads!

Tuesday, February 25, 2014

The past few days have been gray and rainy. The poor girls have been cooped up inside stuck watching WAY TOO MUCH TV while Brian and I clean, organize, and pack. That means it was time for a crafting break!

When I was younger I loved making melting bead creations! Now it is fun getting to share that with Kenley!  My mom saved of our bin of melting bead supplies and creations. Kenley loves going through it to see what Auntie Kimbe and I made. In my day they only had square, circle, heart, star, and octagon peg boards. Now they have all different shaped peg boards to make creating even more fun! We headed to the craft store to pick up more beads and we also picked up the Horse and the Butterfly peg boards.

Another new thing since my day is the biggie beads! I love them for this age. Kenley likes to do the little ones but gets easily frustrated with them. We don't have that problem with the biggie beads and Claire can even do them if she decides to cooperate :)

These beads are great for working on fine motor skills too!

Washi Tape Labels

Thursday, February 20, 2014

It's all organizing and packing over here... I'm trying not to get overwhelmed by the crazy everywhere!

These washi tape labels are making organizing just a little bit more fun!

I had been pining for this Washi Tape Label Maker but it is a bit spendy and requires specialized washi tape. We already had this Dymo label maker so I decided to make due with what I already have! Bonus, this way I can use up some of my ridiculous washi tape (obsession) collection!

Alrighty! It's back to packing for me!

The Seahawks won the Superbowl!!
The 12th Man fans were going crazy this year! Everyone and everything has been decked out with Seahawks stuff for the whole season! Seattle definitely knows how to support it's team!

I follow our Quarterback on Instagram :) You should too.
He is awesome. This is him and Sean Alexander the morning of the Superbowl at church.

Go Hawks!

Conviction, Refinement, and Thankfulness

Saturday, February 15, 2014

Here is a little thought that I posted on Instagram this past Thursday.

43 weeks ago and today. Notice the change in attitude in the pictures. In the first picture they had been yelled at. In the second picture she had been laughed at. I am so thankful for God's forgiveness of my sins. Motherhood is constantly humbling me. The first picture was also taken at the height of my imbalanced hormones. The second picture is taken after #whole30 has helped to balance my hormones. #thankfulforforgiveness #thankfulforwhole30 #thankfulforJesus

Wednesday was P Day and our Valentine's Day Party!

We played a little Simon Says...

This is their new thing during prayer...

These 2 were hilarious. I wish I had audio of them singing the weather and days of the week songs....

I was the craft mom this week so we did painting on canvas for P!

After we were finished painting the canvases we made Valentines for the Daddies!
