I just discovered that there is a town called Ronks in Pennsylvania. We totally need to make a trip up there while we are still on the East Coast!!

Kenley and I are getting back in our Craft of the Day groove! This day we did wet chalk abstract art and melting crayons art!
We also did some Hair Chalking :)

The next day we made some Kandinsky circles!

I haven't been doing too much crafting on my own lately unless you count making props and games for CC :)

I LOVE how Kenley's Australia looks like a mouth guard! Haha! So cute!

I can't remember if I mentioned that Brian is a CC tutor now too! His boards are always neater than mine!

The girls and I were matching at CC last week!

ALSO.... Amanda is having a girl!!!!!! YAY!!!!!

Kenley Lost Her Second Tooth! September 24th 2014

This tooth had been loose since her other one fell out in June so it was about time!

This tooth fairy followed her mothers lead and did some dollar origami :)

Silhouette Summer

Sunday, September 28, 2014

My Silhouette machine hasn't gotten too much use since school has started. I was searching for some inspiration and decided to look back and see what projects I did this summer. I definitely used more heat transfer vinyl than I have ever before!

Shirts for the girls...

Shirts for Kim's kiddos...

Pacis for EllaBeth...

Birthday Shirt for Kristen...

I stuck a vinyl name on this Lego Store bag too...

I made vinyl for a friend's daughters backpacks...

Personalized Marker Kits for friends birthdays...

A water bottle for Molly...

Notebooks for the girls...

Matching Seahawks shirts for the girls and I...

Cups for the girls teachers/tutor...

I think I have found my next Silhouette project! I want to make this calendar!!

I'm also itching to make some pocket tees... but that would require me getting my sewing machine out and I don't see that happening any time soon :)

What are you up to with crafts? Anything fun?

The Girls First Trip to the Dentist!

Thursday, September 25, 2014

Monday (9/22/14) the girls had their first trip to the dentist! Before we went to the Dentist's office, Brian read the girls a My First Trip to the Dentist book so they were pretty pumped!

Because of cancellations, the office was empty so the dental hygienists were able to clean my teeth at the same time as the girls. I didn't really get to watch them but I was in a chair near them listening and gagging on instruments while I laughed at what they said. Kenley got her teeth cleaned first, Claire sat on a stool next to her and encouraged her the WHOLE time... "You are doing great Kenley" "Good Job Kenley" You are going so good Kenley" "Mommy, Kenley is doing a great job!"

Claire did very well too! Kenley didn't quite cheer so much for Claire. Instead she talked about random things CONSTANTLY... It was as if she had to make up for those few moments where her mouth was occupied. :)

The Dentist did say that both girls will probably need braces since their mouths don't have much space for big teeth to grow in... Especially Claire....

But if you knew Brian and I before we had our braces then you know that we have been prepared for a braces filled future for our children :)

Curlers...

Beach day...

Notice the level at which Kenley's shorts are pulled up... and tucked in... ALL the time..

One day we will all look back and laugh at her non-existent fashion sense :)

She is sobbing here because we made her untuck her shirt so that we could go out for ice cream... haha

Kenley drew our Pastor during church... (She loves him and gets excited to see him every week!)

Claire was down with a stomach bug a few weekends ago. Kenley stepped in to help with snuggles :)

Kenley is learning cursive! She hates it... But I am determined that she will have beautiful handwriting so we are pushing through!!

Cleaning...

The bunk beds!

We turned one of the girls toddler beds into a Lego table! We are all about Lego! The girls love them and will play with them for HOURS! Everything is awesome!

Making cookies... They were sweetened only with dates and the recipe is definitely a keeper!

Brian broke out the guitar one night for bedtime! The girls loved it! I definitely want us to do this more! I'm not a musical person... but my husband sure is a hottie playing that guitar...

We played a little personality game during our Foster Training class last Saturday... Can you guess who is who? lol... Although I feel like my cards kind of make me sound fake...

We made super yummy grain free pumpkin bars! They were so good! I might whip up another batch tonight!

This girl... She is me... Night terrors, sleep walking, and all....

It's not Halloween time until I eat one of these...

The girls tell EVERYONE that their Gramps bought them horses... We love facetiming with my parents and the horses :)

"Can we go to the Goodfellows now?"

My latest food combo obsession: Bacon + Chocolate...

Let's go Seahawks!!
