Kenley had her 5 year check-up last week!

My "big" girl! She weighed in at 33.9 pounds. I'm pretty sure there are 1 year olds somewhere that weigh more than Kenley :). 

Since she is 5 she also did an eye exam and a hearing test! It's funny because I thought she got a ton wrong on her eye test, turns out it was me... I went back a few days later and now am searching for some cute glasses to wear occasionally :) 

Every time Kenley lifted her hand to let the Corpsman know what ear she heard from, Claire cheered for her and told her great job or gave her a thumbs up! She is such an encouraging girl!

Little Bits

Right now my laptop has 29,289 pictures on it. This means that my storage space is almost full and my computer is running a little slow. I'm trying to figure out how to get everything onto an external hard drive, but that is proving to be much trickier than I anticipated... (maybe I am just not computer savvy enough?)

While I get that all sorted out here are a few pictures of me with my girls from Mother's Day! I sure do love these sweet girls who God has blessed us with!  

The girls had their follow up weight check yesterday. They are both up in weight! Kenley weighed 28.8 and Claire weighed 25.8. I think anyone would gain lots of weight if given ice cream daily along with a ridiculous amount of butter coating everything! The doctor was actually pleased that I was giving them ice cream all the time.... WHAT?!? WEIRD! To me it just seems like they want them fattened up for the sake of being fattened up so they can be on this weight scale that someone thought up for the sake of solely comparing averages. What does the percentage matter anyway? 

My kids aren't average in any way and I don't want them to be!

Time for your check-up!

The girls had check-ups on the 18th

As usual they are both super tall and skinny, Brian and I aren't too concerned but we are trying to add more fat to the girls diets... all while trying to not fatten us up too :) 

The girls both did so well during their check-ups! All that credit goes to Doc McStuffins! We sang the time for your check-up song a lot that day! 

Honestly, I really dislike this pediatrician. She is SUPER condescending. I'm pretty sure that she thinks I am an airhead parent who doesn't know how to feed her kids (what she thinks are) healthy foods. It's super frustrating.
