When we lived in North Carolina we were a part of the New Bern Classical Conversations Campus. When we lived in California we were a part of the Moreno Valley Classical Conversations Campus. When we knew we would be moving back to Washington we knew that we wanted to continue schooling our children with Classical Conversations but when I called the Area Support Representative I was told that there was not a CC campus in our town and the nearest ones that were half an hour away were already full. That just wouldn't work! So I asked for the Director Application! That is how I began my life as a CC Director and started a new CC Community! Being a Director has definitely been a bit of a roller coaster but I absolutely adore our CC community and I wouldn't have it any other way! I have met some of my dearest friends through CC.

The First Day of CC!
Backing up a little bit, here is what the few weeks leading up to the start of CC looked like for the girls... They are lying on the floor at Office Depot while we wait for all of the things to finish printing... #directorskids
I wasn't crazy about some of the map options for flip books on CC Connected so I made my own with shrunk down backline maps from the guide and watercolor pencils. The great thing about this method is it really made me learn the locations myself!
