This is me on mile nine trying to take a picture, drink from the camelbak, smile, and run at the same time. I look like a sweaty dork!
I completed my first double digit training run today! Being able to run 10 miles definitely boosts my confidence for the half marathon on August 11th!
Today's run was also my first run wearing my new (purple) camelbak! For the first 3 miles of the run I really hated it because it was sloshy and bouncy. I finally stopped to adjust the chest strap because it was either, the pack gets more comfortable or I turn around and cut my run short. Thankfully after I adjusted the strap it worked great! I would like to order and additional strap though so that it can be even more secure. It was my first run with Body Glide, I am a fan!
Around mile 8 an older bicyclist who had already passed me once yelled to me that I was running very good. That made me smile and definitely added a bright spot to my run! I always try to say positive things to people who I see out on the trail running, biking, or walking because I know what an encouragement it can be to me.
{We will be without Internet for the next week but I hope to do a few iPhone picture posts!}
Have a great week!

That is awesome! Good for you. I'm totally impressed. What an accomplishment.
Way to go KERI! How do you not get bored running centennial for that long! ha.
I can't seem to run with a camelbak at all, I want to try those belts with water bottles whenever I start running again.
You rock!!! 10 miles was the farthest I trained before my half. You've got this!!!
