We had a great week with Grandpa and Gramma! Of course we had to go to Baker's Kitchen! It's a requirement for any visitors :)
Since our blue car is out of commission, I spent lots of time in the back seat with the girls...
This is totally random... but our girls are wanting to go to another home school conference with the Goodfellows :)
Fred and Terri were awesome and let Brian and I go on a date! We haven't really had a date since we have lived here so it was much needed! We went to Circa 81 in Morehead City. It was SO YUMMY. Seriously such a great date night place!
Baked Brie... Order it!
After dinner we headed to the beach to hang out and chat...
The next day after Church we headed to the beach! Its pretty ridiculous that we live only 40 minutes away and haven't been before this! It was so fun! The girls loved every second of it! They played in the sand, jumped in the waves with Grandpa, and had a great time soaking up the sun!
We finished the Kirsten series! Up next: Felicity!
Fred and Terri watched the girls while I spent Monday-Wednesday at the Classical Conversations Practicum. I am super excited to start Classical Conversations this year with Kenley! I can't wait to relearn everything, especially the timeline of the world! Most of the time in my head there is a separate Biblical timeline and a "historical" timeline.... I love that CC teaches an integrated timeline! I am going to be a tutor for the 6 and 7 year olds. I will have a few of my favorite kiddos in my class so I am super excited about that!
Seriously...
Bright and early Thursday morning Grandpa and Gramma headed out.... We had to wake the girls... We aren't really morning girls :)
Can you believe they rode a motorcycle across the country!?
Library Story Time! Miss Deb at the Havelock Library is so wonderful with kids!
Art for Kids Hub time!
It's Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon!
We have a whole Art for Kids wall now! I think the minions are my favorite!
Popcorn and The Lego Movie!
Someone is pretty excited for her upcoming birthday party :)
