Snippets from our CC Days...

During our CC days my hands are often busy helping to set-up and clean-up art and science supplies or a variety of other tasks so I don't end up taking very many photos. Here are a few pictures from Cycle 3 2017-2018..

Week 24 Lego Lab (on CCConnected under username abbygjertsen)

During Morning Assembly I lead our campus in memorizing the Bible Memory Work that CC offers as a free download on their website. A wonderful CC Connected user turned that memory work into flash cards that could match the regular CC Flashcards!

I ordered this book from Usbourne. It's such a cute book but I didn't end up using it very much with the girls this year. If it's not a story book, I don't tend to enjoy reading aloud to the girls and if it's not about an animal of some kind, Kenley doesn't enjoy reading on her own.
 {Don't worry, she reads A TON! It just has to be about animals 😊}
Hopefully this will spark their interest in 3 years on our next round through Cycle 3!

 It's always the Directors kid....
This is the face she colored for her My Body Project...

Our friend Officer Sam came to talk to all of us about safety and he let every single kid try on his SWAT gear!

These are the books that I checked out from the Library to correlate to our Cycle 3 Artists...

We swapped out Jim Davis and chose to study Peter Max instead. He is such a great artist to study for Cycle 3! We did Peter Max inspired Statue of Liberty's with oil pastels and Kool-aid watercolors...

My wonderful Mother-in-Law came to introduce the Orchestra to us on Week 19!
