Trip Recap Part 1

My memory card came in the mail today! Yay! Thanks Melissa!

I was pretty nervous about flying across the country by myself with the girls but the plane ride actually went great! There was a super nice Navy family who sat in front of us and their eight year old daughter really took a liking to Kenley because she "has ALWAYS wanted a little sister" but instead has brothers :). She was so sweet to help Kenley put her shoes on and play with her and help her to walk off of the plane.

It was a bit crazy making our way through the airport because I had two carry-on bags, a stroller, two suitcases, two car seats, a stroller, and two children. We had to make it from baggage claim to the rental car area and I wasn't quite sure how to make that work, but once we were on the shuttle to the rental car area a super nice guy who was traveling with his wife and two kids the same age as Kenley and Claire helped me get all of my stuff to the rental car booth. He was so awesome! He turned out to be a Marine and I feel like he could just spot me as a Marine Corps wife! Since we don't live near a Marine Corps base, I had totally forgotten about the camaraderie that comes along with the Marine Corps! It's awesome!

Can you spot Brian?

I was pretty shocked at how skinny Brian was when we first saw him! He lost about 20lbs! Thankfully though, good ol' southern sweet tea helped him gain most of it back while we were in NC. :)

The graduation was pretty uneventful compared to his Boot Camp graduation. I am still glad that we were there though!

Susan was awesome and drove all the way up to Quantico to watch Brian graduate! Thanks Susan!

The girls and I were able to stay with Shane and Becky and it was so fun! I miss hanging out with them so much!
Kenley loved playing with Carter and Makayla too! Our first morning there Becky and Makayla even had a tea party set up for breakfast with real cream, sugar, and tea in the toy pots! It was so cute!

Brian was one happy Daddy to have his girls back!

I am so thankful to have my family back together! I love having Brian back! It's been almost 5 years and I am still madly in love with this man!
