Kenley's Birthday Lunch

Thursday, August 2, 2012

I really wanted to have something fun planned for Kenley's actual birthday since her mermaid birthday party isn't until Saturday. My mom, sister, and I decided that it would be fun to take her (and Claire) to the American Girl Doll Store for lunch.

I was super impressed with our lunch! They have dolls that they loan out so that you can enjoy lunch with a doll even if you don't have your own. We are definitely a few years away from delving into the whole American Girl Doll world so I was thankful that she could play with a doll for lunch! The food was actually really fantastic too!

The whole place is covered in pink, mirrors, and glittery things. Kenley loved it!

I started to tear up as I was praying before our lunch and thanking God for giving us Kenley. I knew if the tears started they might not stop so the prayer was cut very short. :)

I also started to tear up when everyone in the restaurant was singing Happy Birthday to Kenley. She is such a sweet little girl and I am so thankful that God chose to bless us with her.

My Dad bought her this Dora "packpack" for her birthday and she is obsessed! She wears it everywhere now! It's crazy that at the same time it makes her look really tiny AND like a super big kid all at the same time!
