(I will be doing a few recap posts to catch the blog up for the months I didn't blog.)
In June (when we still lived in Vegas)...
We discovered Charli's Crafty Kitchen on Kids YouTube. It is a little cooking show with sisters who make fun food. The girls love it and it has really sparked an interest in cooking in both girls but Kenley especially! At the end of the videos the girls say "If you liked this video give us a thumbs up" meaning on the YouTube page. Kenley always gives them an actual thumbs up! I love it!
The girls made fruit wands just like Charli and Ashlee...
99.9% of the selfies I take are texts to Amanda...
In Vegas we lived less than 15 minutes away from the Peters so we got to spend a lot of time with them! Sweet girls playing dress up...
Lunch date with Daddy after a sweaty Red Rock Canyon hike...
Our sweet Timillian... He went missing in November and we are all still pretty sad about it. He was the sweetest cat and we loved him so much. He is greatly missed!
In Vegas we did lots of swimming at the Peters house but we also went to the Peters community pool a few times...
I started reading about Reggio Emilia Preschools which has lead me to reading lots and lots of books about education styles which has lead us to Waldorf education which has heavily influenced how we are homeschooling now. I love it and I am sure that there will be more posts to come on that soon!
I met Christine from Sister Wives in Walmart! How crazy! I was picking out corn and I looked up to see that she and her daughter Mykelti were also picking out corn. I grasped and asked her to take a selfie with me. She was very nice and took time to chat with me. Then after our shopping I ended up in line next to her so of course I had to FaceTime my friend Kimi (who is a huge Sister Wives fan) so that Kimi could "meet" her too!
Vegas summer weather is crazy hot. The girls spent lots of time playing with our tiny pool and eating tons of popsicles...
Fathers Day candy gram for Brian...
We really loved Timillian...
Like my fancy decorating? ;)
We discovered these awesome pop-up books by Matthew Reinhart and Robert Sabuda at the Vegas library. In Vegas we went to the library for story time each week. They have awesome libraries in Vegas!
Claire's make-up skills...
I backed into our house.. Thankfully the house was fine and the dent miraculously popped back out!
This is a great snack. I love mint and chocolate together...
I loved these rainbow trees...
Another of our weekly activities was going to Pottery Barn Kids for their story time. They had lots of other events throughout the month too. This picture is from when we went to their ice cream social...
Our Vegas backyard was tiny and all rock. The girls missed grass a lot. Multiple times we would be walking into a store and they would be mesmerized by the grass in the parking lots. Funny girls...
At the end of June we began our drive up to Washington to visit family and friends.
Our sleeping kids...

I had no idea you liked Sister Wives and I have never heard of these educational philosophies. Clearly there is a lot more we need to be catching up on.
If this was on FB, I would of 'liked' every picture and a few made me tear up
Love this post :)
