Showing off their butterfly wings from Gramps...

Super hero day at Discovery Children's Museum...

I think this is a glimpse into her future. This girl loves animals and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if she grew up and became a Veterinarian...

Face painting...

The next day we dressed up and headed out to see the Las Vegas strip for the first time...

We ate breakfast at Giada and oh my goodness I can't wait to go back! Everything was so delicious!

Mom ordered the Salmon Cakes Benedict and I stole half of it. It was amazing! I have since recreated the recipe at home and its super delicious! I'll share the recipe soon!

The girls had the Strawberry Polenta waffles which were also amazing and I need to try recreating those too!

There is a fun (free) photo booth at Giada...

I love when we match. I'm thankful that they love it too!

We went to Caesar's Palace and I had the girls take a picture in front of each of the (Greek)Roman gods since we have a history sentence about them this year!

At Caesar's they have a little talking statues show with fire and water effects...

Kenley wasn't so sure. Haha!

After Caesar's we headed over to the aquarium at Mandalay Bay...

That night my mom watched the girls so that Brian and I could go on a date! We went to Culinary Dropout inside the Hard Rock Hotel.

I quickly became obsessed with this restaurant and we returned a few times before we moved away from Vegas. If you go you HAVE to order the black bottom chocolate pie. It is so good!! I need to recreate this one at home too!

After dinner we headed over to the New York, New York to ride the Roller Coaster... Which was super fun! It's a really good roller coaster!

The next day, Mom and I took the girls to Bonnie Springs...

After Bonnie Springs we drove a few miles up and drove around the teeny little town of Blue Diamond. If we had stayed in Vegas I would have begged Brian to move us there! It was so cute and quaint! And they had grass AND trees there!

We also spotted some wild donkeys and their babies...

Happy Lego...

Baking with Mommy...

Hiking at Mount Charleston...

Do you see the elephant?!

Pool time at the Peters...

Lounging at PBkids...

We started making rolled beeswax candles to light at dinner...

We were SHOCKED to find out that we would need to move to California at the end of the month (!) so we made a few trips to CA to look at houses...

The Siedenburgs came for a visit!
Sweet Hadley...

I think this means she likes Elsa more than Anna?

Sleepover in the play room...

We explored Red Rock Canyon and Bonnie Springs...

I insisted on dinner at Culinary Dropout because I love it :). This night they had live music and the musicians gave the kids each a pick, it made the kids night!

The famous Vegas sign...

Story time...

The next day we went to see the Mermaids at the Silverton Casino...

Then we explored the Bass Pro Shop...

Claire LOVES Hadley...

The Peters came over for dinner to see the Siedenbergs...

Whole lot o' crazy...

And just like that it was time for them to head home... :(

More fun with the Disney Side App...

More pool time...

Have you tried these grapes?! We were obsessed with them this summer!

Kenley drew a Seahawk for Daddy...

We bought a new bed and bedding...

Holding tight to Daddy as we navigated at a very large church...

Kenley learned to swim at the Peter's pool right before we left Vegas!!

Rainbow trees...

We (just me really) made rainbow star crayons...

Last story time at PBKids...

New friends taught us how to make pipe cleaner people...

Last Coco Donuts trip with the Peters the day that they moved...

We had a little tradition of going outside to say goodnight to the moon before bed. It really seemed to help the girls get in sleep mode. We would often look for constellations or watch how Venus and Jupiter were moving each night. I really like the Sky Guide App on my phone for help in locating constellations!

His favorite spot to nap...

I really liked the girls Vegas bedroom! It was so bright and airy!

Last shot in front of our Vegas house! I loved that house it had such a great layout! If it would have been on a bigger lot with grass and trees, I could have lived in that house forever... It had two master closets and mine was huge!
It is really sunny in Vegas...

Packed up and driving to our new house in California...
