Hooray!! Praise the LORD!! Kenley broke through that pesky 12 pound barrier and now weighs 13lbs 4.5oz!

I really can't remember much of what the doctor said because Brian was there and every time I would look at him I would start to laugh because he makes fun of everything. I didn't want to be rude so I was using all of my brain cells trying not to laugh out loud. It didn't work. :)We no longer have to go in for weekly weight checks! We will just have to come back in a month for a weight check and if that one goes well then we should be all clear! He wants to run some more blood tests on her and also a few urine tests.... How do you get a urine sample from an infant?! Why with a portable baggie of course... lol... I CAN NOT wait until she is grown up and I get to tell her all of these funny stories!
Today was the third time she has had to have blood drawn in the last few weeks but the first time that Daddy was there to hold her. They actually got her blood on the first try too!!
Pitiful! I really think that she was way more upset about being held down than about the needle though.
Thank you everyone for your prayers for her weight gain!

Keri this is Emily Jones I am so glad that she is doing better. Kenley is a beautiful baby girl and God has bless you guys.
So happy she has passed this milestone! She' such a cutie pie too.
Yay for Kenley! I have a lightweight too but thankfully our pediatrician is laid back about skinny kids as long as all the other developmental milestones are fine. :)
Greg and I were just talking about a much needed visit to New Bern VERY SOON. I can't wait to meet her!!!
Yeah, pee bags are NOT A FUN THING!! We had to have that with Hannah. Bring something for her to drink while waiting in the office. Diet Coke works wonders on the bladder.

To answer your playfood questions... I know you asked them a long time ago but I just saw them so... Yes, the garnish on the pizza is loose so you can do the pizza you want, as well as the cheese and the sauce :) and yes, those "infusion" pouch have just a bunch of cut out pieces.
