Lamps....

I am trying to decide on a lamp for the nursery

What do you think of this one is from ikea. I would cover the shade with the fabric I am using in the nursery.

Or do you prefer the one that I posted about when I posted all of my other nursery ideas?

I like this one, especially if you are planning on covering the shade with your fabric :)

It depends on how much of the fabric you will be using in the room if you cover this one it could make the room look too busy, I like this glass one with a lime green covered shade with a white and blue striped ribbon around the top or bottom of the shade. Keeping it simple might be the better answer. Remember too that if you go with a darker blue shade the light will not glow through as nicely. I love your fabric choice!

Hmmm... Well with the fabric.. I am only planning on using it for the bumper and a roman shade. So I dont think it will make it too busy but now I also love the idea of a lime green shade with the ribbon around it. Decisions Decisions!!!

Ok so not all of us agree. Thankfully Keri, you get to make the final decision :) Also, not related to this topic. I made the homemade detergent today! YAY! However, I kind of poured all the baking soda in the pot at once and oops VOLCANO eruption!

Yay for homemade detergent! I made that recipe a while ago and I still have 1 1/2 jugs of it! Its great!

I'm a fan of the ones you posted about previously ... but like Jenny said, the choice is yours!

It might be nice to just use the ribbon, to keep with the color theme and shake up the decorating ... yeah.

Also -- this is going to sound weird, but my mom redid my room as a child in pink and purple flowers, pansies, I think ... and she held on to some of the fabric and later made a pillow case for me, which I took off to college. I still have it, actually. Anyway, I hope you got plenty of it in case you find need for the fabric later on. You never know when or what your baby might connect it to later on. =)

Hmmm, I was going to say I liked the other one till I read Teirsa's idea :) I think you will win both ways. Plus I like Steph's suggestion about having extra fabric for later. Also do you have a night light too?
